Electronic Arts continues the World War II first-person-shooter series with the cross platform release of Medal of Honor Airborne on the PlayStation2, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360. Players take on the persona of Boyd Travers, Private First Class of the 82nd Airborne Division and engage in battles throughout Europe. Each mission begins behind enemy lines with an intense and fully interactive airdrop. Players will perform airdrops, gather troops, assess situations and arm themselves to defend their company positions and comrades while accomplishing mission goals. The ability of the players to determine their own starting point dramatically changes the way each mission plays out. View the entire operation from the air, and then control their parachute to choose their landing spot. On the ground, gather their senses and assess the terrain. Medal of Honor Airborne will also feature exceptionally photo-realistic characters, adding to the intensity called reinforcement.
