Xbox 360 was developed in cooperation with IBM, ATI and SiS, it is a video game console produced by Microsoft.The Xbox 360 is the successor to the Xbox, and competes with Sony's PS 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation. Xbox 360 was first unveiled in a half-hour promotional program that aired May 12, 2005, on MTV, and was further revealed at the 11th annual Electronic Entertainment Expo(E3), held the following week.
The Xbox 360 can play both Xbox 360 games as well as DVD movies right out of the box. The system can also play certain titles that were released on the original Xbox. One of the major feature of the Xbox 360 is the Xbox Live online services. There are two versions of Live- Gold which lets you play games online against people, and Silver which allows you download demos, trailers, Xbox Live arcade games, and chat with friends. A key feature of Xbox live is that it is a central services that lets you use just one nickname and lets you keep a list of friends wherein you can also choose people you like to play with.
